Terms and Conditions for Corporate Membership

Studios may pay a yearly fee of $185.00 to become a corporate member of WA Classical Ballet Teachers’ Association Inc.

This fee will allow an unlimited number of teachers to access member benefits under the umbrella of the studio’s corporate membership. Teachers’ names are to be listed on the studio’s membership application form, and should be updated as new teachers join the studio, or when teachers previously linked to the studio membership cease employment with the studio.

Teachers listed on the membership application form must be teaching regularly at the studio. Student teachers under 18 years of age may be included in the corporate membership, but if they attend educational or other events arranged by WACBTA, they must be accompanied by another teacher nominated under the corporate membership who is over 18.

Teachers listed under the studio’s corporate membership are entitled to discounted rates for any educational events offered by WACBTA,  and to access any other member benefits WACBTA offers.

If a teacher who is listed under a new corporate membership has previously paid an individual membership fee for the year in question, the teacher shall be offered the option of choosing to continue their individual membership, or moving under the umbrella of their studio’s corporate membership. If they choose to relinquish their individual membership, a refund for the amount of their membership fee, applied pro rata for the unused portion of the calendar year, will be available.

All teachers covered under the Corporate Membership must individually adhere to WACBTA’s Code of Conduct and all requirements under the WACBTA’s Constitution.
